Act
A vital part of our mission at The Children's Trust of South Carolina is to act as an advocate for public policies that can improve the lives of children. We accomplish this goal by building support among policy makers and the public through education about and awareness of the causes of child abuse and neglect and how to prevent it. We also provide training that helps members of our networks lobby more effectively on issues of importance to families. Additionally, we're in the process of creating policy councils that can help local leaders get involved in local issues.
