There is a lot of momentum happening around South Carolina in support of high quality, voluntary,
universal 4K and Voices has been busy building the partnerships necessary to strengthen
these efforts!

Numerous meetings have taken place, with many different and diverse groups, to
raise the awareness of the importance of 4K in South Carolina and how school readiness directly
impacts our high school graduation rates.

Creating public awareness, about children’s issues in particular, is a big part of the advocacy efforts that Voices carries out as part of our mission. For the 4K initiative, we have been working to connect the dots for many people to outline that what happens in the early years of learning is profoundly important to the outcomes we want for all our children.
