Membership

The membership of Voices for South Carolina’s Children represents a group of individuals and nonprofit organizations that study the data surrounding child well being in South Carolina and advocate for policies that benefit children. The areas of child well being championed by these nonprofit groups include early care, education, health, safety, and family support. Because Voices tracks all legislation that effects children, we partner with our members to address issues ranging from seat belt laws to funding universal, high quality, voluntary preschool.

Member

• Represents a nonprofit organization, private academic institute, or business.
• Attends and participates in meetings, work groups, the Children’s Policy Forum and Children’s Day at the capital.
• Receives the Children’s Legislative Update (CLU) and Action Alerts on children’s issues being brought in front of the South Carolina Legislature.
• Pays the regular annual membership fee of $150.00

Associate Member

• Does not represent a nonprofit organization, private academic institute, or business.
• Can be an individual advocate, concerned citizen or student.
• Receives the Children’s Legislative Update (CLU) and Action Alerts on children’s issues being brought in front of the South Carolina Legislature.
• Pays membership fee of $75.00.
