Prevent Child Abuse SC Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Making sure every child grows up in a safe, loving home is the goal of Prevent Child Abuse South Carolina. We work to do that through a network of local, regional and statewide human services agencies, civic and faith-based organizations, businesses, health care providers and concerned citizens. We engage people, families and groups who believe, as we do, that abuse can be prevented if families can find the help they need.
Our affiliates work to make sure children have proper nutrition and access to health care. We strive for safe homes where accidents and injuries are rare. We help parents surround their children with loving actions and loving words. We aid parents who need intervention or treatment to create an atmosphere were children can blossom and grow.
Our Vision
Prevent Child Abuse South Carolina envisions a state in which every child is free from maltreatment and nurtured in a loving family; a state in which every community is committed to the safety and well-being of children; a state where this commitment is demonstrated in policies and actions that place children first.
